The legs put the cooking surface at a pleasant cooking height. Each leg will have a hard stop at 29 inches and 36 inches and fine adjustment for uneven ground. The Skottle by Tembo Tusk is like a skillet with legs and has a propane burner as its heat source. The legs will collapse down to 20 inches making them easier to carry and store.
